M&M cookie recipe?

I am looking for M%26amp;M cookie recipe that I had in the 70's I have been to M%26amp;M.com and they do not have any thing from that far back you useed both kinds of M%26amp;Ms and rolled them in powder sugar is all I rememberM%26amp;M cookie recipe?
Wow I made 42 cookies in only 8 min








1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar


3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened


1 teaspoon vanilla


2 large eggs


2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour


1 cup M%26amp;M's, plain chocolate candy


1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)


1 teaspoon salt








Noe just.....


1. Preheat oven to 375掳.


2. Mix brown sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl until blended.


3. Stir in remaining ingredients.


4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 3'; apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press additional candies into each cookie if desired.


5. Bake until light brown, 6 to 8 minutes.


6. Cool slightly; remove to a wire rack.

Ultimate M%26amp;M's Cookie





1 C. butter or margarine, softened


1/2 C. granulated sugar


1/2 C. firmly packed light brown sugar


1 large egg


1 t. vanilla extract


2 C. all-purpose flour


1/2 t. baking soda


1/8 t. salt


1 12-oz. package M%26amp;M's Chocolate Mini Baking Bits


3/4 C. chopped nuts (optional)





Preheat oven to 350掳F. In large bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in M%26amp;M's Chocolate Mini Baking Bits and nuts, if using.





Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.





Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and centers are still soft. Do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks.





Store in tightly covered container.





Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
