Half the chocolate chip cookie recipe?

does anyone know what the measurements would be for half the toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe? I tried to convert to decimals to get the correct halves of everything but somehow my cookie dough had the consistency of cake batter! lol math was never my strong suit so i was wondering if anyone could help.Half the chocolate chip cookie recipe?

1/2 cup chopped nuts
