I am making oatmeal raisin cookies and I don't have any oatmeal :/
can I substitute almond honey Granola instead? It doesn't have almonds in it or anything, it just is flavored I guess..Can I substitute Granola for Oatmeal in cookie recipe?
Probably OK but cut back on your sugar and fat in the recipe since granola contains both.Can I substitute Granola for Oatmeal in cookie recipe?
You probably shouldn't. Granola is toasted, so it may take on an unfavourable chewy texture, or it could taste burnt. It never hurts to try though!
